Thesearchandrescueteamwaspracticingwhattodoifapersonfellintoacrevasse. Acrevasseisacrackinthesurfaceofaglacier.Afterworkingallday,wetookabreak.Wewantedtoclimbsomelargeseracs.Theyaretallridgesof ice.
Atthebaseofonewasadeepcrevasse.Istoodontheedge.Someropeconnectedmetoapersonclimbingaboveme.Whenthatpersonslipped,Iwasknockedoffmy feet.
